Lasser Eólica: Measurement campaign in Mauritania for Hynfra

At Lasser Eólica, we have secured a new contract with the Polish company Hynfra for a wind potential measurement campaign in Mauritania.

This agreement strengthens our position as a key player in the international renewable energy sector, contributing our technology and experience to large-scale projects.

A strategic project with cutting-edge technology

The campaign will run for one year in an area 25 kilometers south of Nouakchott, the Mauritanian capital. The aim is to assess as accurately as possible the wind potential for a future renewable energy park.

To this end, our team will install and manage a 100-meter measurement tower and a LIDAR unit, which will supplement the tower’s data with measurements up to 160 meters, the hub height of the future wind turbine.

Our work does not end with installation. The scope of the project includes choosing the best location, managing tower and LIDAR data, and preparing a detailed annual report.

To ensure the safety and continuity of the study, we will install a video surveillance system and take care of all maintenance, both preventive and corrective.

 

Hynfra, leader in the green ammonia and hydrogen revolution

Details of the agreement between Hynfra and Lasser Eólica

The agreement was formally concluded during a visit by Hynfra representatives to the Lasser Eólica facilities in Zaragoza on October 6 and 7.

We were visited by the Mr. Pawel Jarczewski, Vice President of Hynfra, and Mr. Tomasz Krupa, Head of Project Management .

During their stay, not only were the specifics of the project in Mauritania established, but they were also able to see our capabilities and experience firsthand by visiting a nearby facility with a 100-meter tower, manufactured and installed by Lasser Eólica.
